Summer School enrollment opens April 3!
Elementary & Middle School Dates: June 5 - June 30
High School Dates: May 30 - June 30
Summer school will not be in session on June 19th due to the Juneteenth federal holiday.
High School:
EVSC Summer School for high school students will take place at Bosse High School and will operate from 8 to 11 a.m. Monday - Friday. Students will be enrolled by their school counselor.
Elementary & Middle School
The EVSC is offering a unique, full-day free summer school experience this year for students. In the morning, students will participate in hands-on, interactive academic lessons. In the afternoons, students have the option to stay and participate in activities such as athletics, fine arts, STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and math) activities as well as community field trips.
Summer school is open to students in grades K-6 or grades 2-3 depending on the school. In addition, 6th and 7th grades at K-8 schools and McGary, Plaza, and Washington middle schools also are eligible to enroll. Bus transportation is available and breakfast and lunch will be provided for free each day.
Note: Priority will be given to students with academic needs.

* Some summer school locations were moved or combined with other schools due to maintenance projects in the school buildings during the summer.
Please take notice of where your student will attend summer school when deciding if they need bus transportation. A student may be in a walk zone for their own school, but will require bus transportation to their summer school site. Please keep this in mind when deciding if you will require bus transportation for summer school.
- Cedar Hall students will attend summer school at Harwood Career Prep HS, 3013 First Ave, Evansville, IN.
- Dexter students will attend summer school at Caze, 2013 S Green River Rd, Evansville, IN.
- Hebron and Stockwell students will join Harper students for summer school at Harper, 21 S Alvord Blvd., Evansville, IN.
- Stringtown, Oak Hill, McCutchanville, Scott & Vogel students will join Highland students at Highland, 6701 Darmstadt Rd., Evansville, IN.
- Cynthia Heights, Daniel Wertz & West Terrace students will join Tekoppel students at Tekoppel 111 N. Tekoppel Ave, Evansville, IN.
- Plaza Park and McGary students will join Washington students at Washington MS. 1801 Washington Ave, Evansville, IN.
- Students signed up for EVSC Extended Day Summer Camp @ Hebron will attend summer school at Caze.
