Back to School Resources

Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year! Below are some resources to help you and your student get ready for school:

New Student Enrollment - please make sure your student is enrolled before the first day of school. Click here to enroll your student.

Attendance Districts: Not sure which school district you live in? Click here to find out.

Annual Registration: Back to School paperwork has moved online! Click here for additional information. Annual Registration will officially open Monday, August 1.

School Start Dates: The EVSC will once again utilize a "soft start" for the 2022-2023 school year in order to help students get more acclimated and for teachers to better build relationships with students.

    • Students with the last names A-J will attend school on Monday, August 8, and Tuesday, August 9.
    • Students with last names K-Z will attend school on Wednesday, August 10, and Thursday, August 11.

    • ALL students will attend school on Friday, August 12. Click here for the full EVSC calendar.

Volunteer Application: If you are interested in volunteering at your student's school, you must first complete a Volunteer Application. Click here to complete the form. Please allow 2-3 weeks to process your application.

Bus Transportation: All students who need bus transportation for this school year must apply. If you have not yet applied for bus transportation for this school year, visit to complete an application. Note: transportation is not guaranteed and is dependent upon space availability along the student's route.

Students who have already applied for bus transportation will be notified in late July regarding their bus status for this school year.

Extended Day Centers: The EVSC offers before and after school care for students in grades K-6. Click here for additional information and to register.

School Meals: Click here for meal prices and here for breakfast and lunch menus.

Note: Since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, school corporations across the country have been operating with the use of a federal waiver that allowed them to feed every child at no cost to families. For the 2022-23 school year, the use of this federal waiver will no longer be available. However, 24 schools in the EVSC will continue to provide free meals through the Community Eligibility Provision. Click here for additional information.

Free/Reduced Application for Lunch, Textooks and More: The EVSC's free/reduced application is available via EVSC Parent Access beginning August 1. Parents/Legal guardians can complete the application during annual registration or at any time after August 1 by going to EVSC Parent Access, signing in and clicking on your student's name and then the Registration tab. Click here for additional information. Contact the EVSC Office of Food & Nutrition at 812-435-8258 with questions.
