In accordance with IC 20-29-6-19, the EVSC, as a school employer, must conduct a public meeting to discuss a tentative collective bargaining agreement at least seventy-two (72) hours before it is ratified by the school employer. As required under this statute, notice of the time and the location of this public meeting was given and the tentative collective bargaining agreement was posted on the EVSC website at least seventy-two (72) hours prior to this public meeting.
The next step in this bargaining process will be ratification of the agreement by the Board of School Trustees during the November 13, 2023 special meeting. Public Comment regarding the tentative agreement will be taken during the meeting prior to ratification by the Board.
